Moozhikkal Pankajakshi is an expert in Nokkuvidya Pavakkali a form of puppetry. She was awarded India’s fourth highest civilian award the Padma Shri in 2020. Moozhikkal Pankajakshi has been actively involving in puppetry from the age of 18. Now that she is 84, she is still passionate about the art. She is even teaching the art to her granddaughter so that it can be passed on to generations and the art can be kept alive.
