Anurag Chauhan, Social Activist

An Indian social worker and founder of Humans For Humanity, headquartered in Dehradun, India, Anurag is highly known for social work in regards to menstrual hygiene. He started the WASH project and reached over 1.5 million women in over 6 states in last 5 years. During the COVID-19 pandemic time, he provided aid and essentials to over 8000 families in various parts of the country, supporting communities, low income group families, transmen, widows, maids, etc. He has been awarded with many awards including Karmaveer Chakra Award by the United Nations, 2016, Delhi Achievers Award 2015 by Aaj Ki Delhi magazine, Global Fellowship by United Nations, 2019, among others. He even appeared on Kaun Banega Crorepati as an Expert Advisor during the show’s 12th season.
