Anshu Gupta, Social Entrepreneur

Anshu Gupta is an Indian social entrepreneur who founded Goonj, a non-governmental organisation (NGO) headquartered in Delhi. He was awarded the “Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award” by Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship in 2012. He even bagged the Ramon Magsaysay Award in 2015. Gupta initiated the “Not Just a Piece of Cloth” (NJPC) campaign after the 2004 tsunami.
